"Belldandy, Keichi wants you..." Megumi called out. There was no 
answer she shrugged and began to walk down the hall towards the 
kitchen and saw Belldandy doing the dishes. Megumi watched as she 
lifelessly scrubbed the crumbs off the dinner plates, staring off
 into the sink with her dull, colorless eyes. She rubbed them with 
her soft silky hands. She wore a long purple and white dress with 
her hair put in a ponytail with each strand in the perfect place...
Keichi loved that dress it was his favorite he used to say it brought
the color out in her beautiful baby blue eyes. Yes that is what he
used to say until... until he got very sick...All of a sudden 
Belldandy got a sudden chill that ran up and down her spine as a 
soft gust of wind flew through the window in front of her. Belldandy's
hair flew up as the wind flew through it gently giving it a little
more life. She lifted her head to feel the soft breeze run against
her pale face. The wind stopped and her head began to lower as 
something caught her attention. She looked at it a little more 
closely... it was a picture... a picture of her and her beloved 
Keichi at the Tokyo Springs... She began to think of how happy she 
was with him that glorious day... she missed those days... the old 
days as some people might call it. She sensed something and jerked 
around. "Belldandy... Keichi wants you." Megumi repeated as she 
stared into Belldandy's dull eyes. "Huh" Belldandy stared back at 
Megumi "oh" she mumbled in a low voice answering her own question, 
she lowered her head slowly and looked at the floor, her eyes 
squinted, the floor began to blur until it was no longer visible to 
her. A tear dropped to the floor, she then collapsed hitting the 
floor hard landing on her knees. She drew her hands to her face as 
the tears began to come more rapidly, and then her hands began to 
tremble a little. She sat there but couldn't help to cry. Megumi 
rushed to her side dropping to the floor beside her. "Oh... Bell 
everything will be okay." she whispered in a soft caring tone of 
voice, "Please don't cry" Belldandy began to squirm out of her 
uncomfortable position... she brought her knees to her face. 
Megumi put her head on Belldandy's shoulder which was trembling a 
little. "Come on Keichi is waiting for you... here I will help you 
up" Megumi said as she slowly raised up. She turned towards Belldandy 
and looked down at her. She lifted her hand... Belldandy looked up 
at her hand as she stared so hard that the background began to blur... 
The tears ran uncontrollably down her pinkish cheeks. Her tears would 
flicker as they gently hit the rough blue tiled floor. Belldandy 
lifted her hand towards Megumi's and rested it on top. They could 
feel each others thoughts and emotions as their hands touched. Megumi 
helped her up. They stood there staring at each other in the face. 
Megumi raised her arms and wrapped them around Bell. They stood there 
for a slight moment holding each other and feeling the pain that they 
shared. Megumi backed up. Bell looked her in the eyes "Thank you 
Megumi I wouldn't be able to get through this without you. You are a 
big help." She then turned and started to walk towards the fridge, 
"Hold on just a sec... I baked something special for him." She opened 
the white fridge that held little magnets all over the front. She 
looked at each shelf one-by-one. She spotted it on the very last 
shelf. She knelt down and gently grabbed the white plate being 
especially careful not to drop it. "Ohhhhhh... you made him a cake... 
it looks so yummy! I think he will really enjoy that." Megumi said 
standing in the doorway eyeing the delicious looking piece of food 
that rested on the plate in her hands. "HEY!!!KEEP IT DOWN IN THERE, 
I AM TRYING TO WATCH TV!" Urd yelled from the living room. Belldandy 
shut the fridge door and began to head towards Megumi. Megumi looked 
up and shook her head in disgust. She turned around and walked down 
the hallway to the brown shaded sliding door which behind it was the 
living room. She peeked in and saw Urd lying on the couch wearing a 
black and purple dress with a slit up the leg which ended at about 
her mid thigh and a v-neck on top. She stared at the TV as if she were 
a zombie. She was watching soap-operas and tossing her favorite food 
POPCORN into her mouth. Megumi snickered "All right Already" she 
yelled back answering Urd's previous question. Belldandy stood in the 
kitchen without a clue about what was going on. She left the kitchen 
and began to walk down the long hallway. The door to the living room 
was shut, but she could still hear the yelling and fighting that was 
within. "They are fighting again?" she said as she continued down the 
hallway with the cake in her hands. Even though she was walking 
further down the hallway she could still hear them very well, and she 
couldn't help but to overhear. 
~IN BACKGROUND~ 
"GIVE IT BACK" yelled Urd "HAHA COME AND GET IT FIRST IDIOT!" Megumi 
laughed Urd lifted her hands to call on her power, which was not 
working at the time because of her earlier punishment, to get the TV 
remote back. BANG-BAMM Urd's powers blew up in her face. Urd was 
fried and had black suit all over her new dress and face. Megumi 
laughed hysterically. Then they began to through things at each other. 
CRASH-BOOM
 ~BACK TO BELL~ 
"Oh when will they ever learn?" Belldandy questioned herself. She 
continued down the hallway until she got to his door... Keichi's door. 
She looked at it but wasn't sure if she should open it or not, afraid 
of what she might find, getting worse, possibly death, could she 
handle it, there was only one way to find out... She shifted the plate 
of cake to her left hand, she raised her other hand and knocked very 
softly. All she could think about was him, "He deserves better than 
this," she quietly said as she lowered her head. She felt like she was 
fixing to cry again but strongly held it in. She looked up at the 
mirror in front of her as she leaned against his door. She studied 
herself in the mirror which was broken in three placed because of a 
certain accident which of course was caused by Urd. She became weak 
in the stomach she knew something but didn't want to admit it. Her 
eyes suddenly got heavy with sadness, she looked back up at the mirror 
that reflected her dying soul and softly said to herself what she knew 
was true... "Keichi deserves better than me..." Then she heard a 
squeak coming from behind her that was so soft that only a goddess 
could hear. She turned her head and looked down the dark hallway... 
her hair swung around and gently brushed against the side of her 
cheek... nothing was there... She turned the other way and saw Keichi 
leaning against the dark brown door frame. "Kei-san What are you doing 
out of bed!" she softly yelled in surprise as her mouth began to drop. 
He was using the door for support , she was so surprised that he could 
have even lifted himself out of the bed much less walk to the door. He 
was wearing a white T-shirt with a little brown stain on the sleeve 
where he probably had used it to wipe his mouth, and he wore an old 
pair of blue jeans that were a little wrinkled. His face was very pale 
and weak looking. His legs were getting too weak to hold himself up, 
he took one child size step towards her, he reached for her extending 
his arms as much as he could. A smile rose on her face, she lifted her 
arms out. He then collapsed to the floor before she could reach him. 
Her smile turned more in to a shocked expression as she yelled 
"nooooooo!" When Keichi landed, he landed butt first and used his 
hands to catch his fall... " It's okay, I'm all right " he said as 
he patted the floor next to him motioning for her to sit down. She 
nodded her head accepting his offer. She slowly sat beside him, 
sitting Indian style. She looked at him, then looked a t the floor, 
she couldn't help it. " What's wrong Belldandy?" he asked as he stared 
at her heart broken face. His eyes were weak along with the rest of 
his body, he was too weak to even open his eyes all the way. She 
lifted her head back up and looked him in the eyes. Her eyes began to 
water again as she folded her soft gentle hands in her lap, "I don't 
want to lose you Kei-san..." she whispered trying to hold back the 
tears. BANG Keichi jerked his head up, "What Was That!" he exclaimed. 
" Oh nothing " she paused and looked back down at her hands " Megumi 
and Urd are Fighting again" she said as she slightly rolled her eyes. 
"So I see." He said with a little chuckle, then, all of a sudden he 
coughed a very rasp dry cough. He put his hand up to his mouth in a 
fist like form trying to cover the cough. "I am sorry Belldandy... 
I didn't mean to cough on you." He was talking so soft that it was 
almost a whisper. Almost as if he was out of breathe. "Come on I have 
to get you back into bed!" She said as she called on her powers since 
he was to heavy for her delicate self to pick up. "Lord help me lift 
his body and lay it to rest in its rightful place." Her light brown 
hair began to lift and objects appeared to be swarming around them. She
 lifted her pale arms and crossed them over her chest. Her beautiful 
purple and white dress raised to about the mid of her thigh. A slight 
gust of wind swirled around her skinny body, she slowly closed her 
eyes as she could feel the power building up. Keichi began to lift off 
the carpeted floor, he raised about three feet off the ground. He 
turned to an angle and began to head towards his room. He floated 
gently above his bed. He began to lower to the filth filled bed below 
him. The wind slowly came to a halt. Belldandy slowly walked to his 
bedroom door and stuck her head out just enough to see him. " Kei-san?"
 she questioned to see if he was okay and awake. " I am okay Bell, 
no need to worry about little old me, I am strong..." He managed to 
answer. She walked into the messy room. There were clothes all over 
the brown floor, junk all over his night stand, the dust filled 
curtains closed allowing no sunlight to shine through, and food all 
over his bed. " Kei-san no wonder you are not getting any better, you 
can't get any sunshine." she said as she tried to make her way to the 
window without stepping on anything. She swung open the curtains, 
unlocked the hatch and lifted up the window, allowing the fresh air to 
fill the mold smelling pig-sty. She took a deep breath of the fresh 
clean air, and looked at the beautiful scenery on the other side of 
the glass, oh how she wished to be outside on such a beautiful glorious
 day. There were lots of birds flying around and singing there hearts 
content. Keichi sat up and carefully rubbed his eyes to get adjusted 
to the bright flash of light that fled upon him, a bright light that 
he had not seen in a while. He noticed Belldandy who stood cuffing her 
hands above her chest gazing into the light as if she had been 
hypnotized. It felt as if he could read her thoughts. "Yes it is a 
beautiful day, but it's beauty does not even compare to yours." He 
said only loud enough where only she could hear. "It is almost time 
for the sun to set." he said looking through the old window at the 
flaming ball known as the sun that was setting the sky all kinds of 
shades such as purple and orange. He lifted his heavy left arm to see 
the time on his knew Rolex watch he had gotten from Belldandy last 
Christmas. She never answered but Keichi didn't mind because he could 
tell the beautiful on coming sun set seemed to have put her in some 
sort of trans. He spoke a little louder so that she would hear him, 
"You know I am feeling a little better and would like to sit outside 
with you to watch it, if you want to that is?" She spinned around, 
hearing his words filled her heart with happiness which has longed to 
be there for a while. "Really Keichi !!! Do you mean it !?! I would 
love that" she said as her eyes grew wide with passion. She ran to his 
side and gave him a big hug which he longed for but soon realized why 
it has been a while "UhHhHh" he screamed with great pain as it filled 
his whole aching body. She raised up and put her hands to her stomach 
"Oh... I am terribly sorry" she said as she stared at his trembling 
body. He started grasping the edge of the sheet that covered his twin 
bed, "I am okay" he whispered softly because he was too weak and 
feeble to speak aloud. She reached down and put her hands underneath 
his arms to help him up. When doing this she realized how skinny his 
arms had gotten over the past year. He stood up and wrapped his arm 
around her shoulders. They stepped over the wads of clothes that were 
scattered around the room and left the room. They now entered the 
hallway and were eyeing the door that led outside. Her shoulder 
started to get a sharp pain from holding him up so long. They walked 
a little ways and reached the door. They stood there for a silent 
minute. "That is odd, I don't hear any yelling or fighting" Then she 
heard a laugh come from behind the closed doors. "I guess they are 
finally getting along in there" she joked.
"I guess so" Keichi responded as he tilted his head back and sniffed 
the air, "What is that god awful smell?" They looked at each other 
in confusion. They walked towards the kitchen and stepped inside. 
Looking around quickly Belldandy gasped at the sink full of dirty 
dishes which she had just cleaned not more than 10 minutes ago. Then 
she spotted Skuld hunched over the stove cooking up a storm "SKULD! 
What in Gods name do you think you are doing!?!" Belldandy yelled. 
Skuld turned around and saw them staring at her with a hint of anger 
in their eyes that she had never seen before. "What? You spend all 
your time doing stuff for that lazy bum of a jerk, when he doesn't 
do anything in return!" Skuld yelled back at her sister. She then 
looked at Keichi, rolled her eyes into the back of her head, and stuck 
her tongue out at him.
	"Skuld stop that he is ill you know that!" Belldandy said 
trying not to get mad. Skuld looked at them and put her hands on her 
hips "He is not ill he is just OLD! Fine, that is the last time I try 
and do anything nice for you again!" she yelled back. She threw her 
wooden spoon at Keichi and stormed out of the room. Belldandy reacted 
quickly and used her free hand and a little magic to stop the spoon 
from hitting him. The spoon stopped about an inch away from his 
forehead and dropped to the floor. Since Keichi was sick he never 
realized it had been thrown at him. "Come on... lets go outside now." 
Belldandy said. They slowly turned around and walked back to the front 
door. Belldandy used her powers again to open the door and then shut 
behind them. She glanced around the yard looking for the perfect spot 
to sit. Keichi knew what she was thinking, "Why don't we go sit over 
there?" Belldandy looked where he pointed his finger and then looked 
him in the eyes "Yeah sure, that looks like a great spot to sit" she 
answered. They began to walk towards this 3-foot rock that was sitting
in the middle of the yard. Next to it was this beautiful oak tree that
they planted together when they first moved in. Keichi limped over to 
the tree struggling to get away from Belldandy's grasp, proving he was 
able to do it himself. She sat down next to him on the soft velvety 
grass. It felt good against her bare feet. There was a slight wind 
that set the perfect mood. He sat beside her and gazed into her 
blue-green eyes. She returned it with a withered smile. He closed his 
eyes and leaned toward her and prepared to give her a soft gentle kiss.
 Belldandy leaned toward him and "Oh I forgot something, I will be 
right back... Hold that thought" she said jumping to her feet. She ran 
towards the house. Keichi fell face first into the ground "Ok..." he 
said back as the grass muffled his voice. She ran inside the door 
"URD, SKULD!!! COME HERE QUICK!!!" she yelled as loud as she could 
through her hands that were cuffed around her mouth. Belldandy stood 
there impatiently.
 ~Living Room~
	"Bell?" Urd said jumping to her feet off of the old brown 
couch. Skuld stood up to "Where are you?" she yelled. Megumi followed 
as the sisters ran to the door. Urd turned around, "No Megumi" she 
said as she pushed Megumi away "You have to stay here!" Skuld opened 
the sliding door and ran out into the hallway. Urd followed and 
slammed the door behind her. Megumi looked at the door in anger. She 
curved her lips and blew her bangs out of her face. Megumi walked back 
over to the couch and plopped down. She grabbed the remote and changed 
the channel "Stupid Urd and her sluty shows!" she exclaimed to herself.
 "I heard that!" a voice said from behind the door.
~Outside~
	"I wonder what she needed?" Keichi said talking to himself. 
He rolled over on his back and looked up at the stars. All of a sudden 
a shooting star shot across the sky.
~Inside~
	Skuld ran up to Belldandy "What is it?" she questioned. 
"Well I was sitting outside with Keichi and all of a sudden I sensed 
something" Belldandy exclaimed. "Like what?" Urd replied as she 
leaned against the door. "I...I don't know...But I really did feel 
something" Belldandy said trying to explain. "Maybe it was a bug?" 
Skuld guessed. Belldandy looked down at her feet and her eyes began 
to cloud, "I don't know where it came from or what it means but I 
feel something horrible is about to happen" she said with a soft 
voice. She raised up her head and looked them in the eyes, "I need 
to know what it is and soon."
~Living Room~
"I wonder what is going on?" Megumi questioned as she sat by the 
door eavesdropping. "Well I guess they went outside I can't hear 
them talking anymore." She stood to her feet and slid open the door. 
"AAHHHH!!!" Urd screamed as she fell over on top of Megumi. "Hey what 
was that for" Megumi yelled in pain. Skuld walked over to her dumb 
sister "Get up you Bighead!" she yelled. Urd slowly struggled to get 
up, she stood there as her knees trembled. "We have a mystery to solve,
 come on!" Skuld said. Urd walked to her and said in an angry jittery 
voice "Come on then lets go..."
~Outside~
	Keichi was starting to get bored. The sky looked like a 
beautiful painting as the sun began to set. "I wish I could have seen 
it with Belldandy though." He moaned in a disappointed voice. "It sure 
is taking her a while... Oh no what if she is hurt or stuck or 
something... I better go find her." He tried to stand up using the 
rock for a guide, but his knees started to give out. Keichi fell to 
the ground. He was way too weak to walk, but how else would he get to 
her. He laid face first on the ground and could smell the freshly cut 
grass tickling his nose. He raised one arm and grabbed a wad of grass. 
He struggled to pull himself forward, but he kept going. He was now 
halfway between the rock and the house. "Uhh" he shrugged and rolled 
over onto his back. Sweat was rolling down the sides of his face as he 
continued to look into the sky. All of a sudden the stars disappeared, 
the lights in the house blinked off and on, and the sky went pitch 
black. "What the..."he exclaimed, then his eyes glazed over and he 
couldn't see anything as if he were blind, then with one last breathe 
his mind began to shut down.
~Inside~
	All the Goddess sisters and Megumi were gathered around the 
computer staring blankly at it as Skuld began cracking a code. Out of 
all of them Urd was the most lost. She zipped her eyes left to right 
as Skuld typed speedily. Urd got so confused her eyes just rolled into 
the back of her head as she tumbled over. "There now all we have to do 
is press enter and everything should be fine and dandy" Skuld said 
happily since her fingers were so tired. She lifted her finger above 
the enter key and started to lower it. The computer shut off along 
with the lights before she could click it. "Hmmm, looks like the power 
went out." Megumi said calmly as she looked up at the ceiling. 
"Noooo!" Skuld screamed at the top of her lungs. She lowered her head 
into her hands and began to cry, "All that hard work for nothing...
" she sobbed. Urd sat up "What is going on?" she questioned. "The 
power went out." Megumi repeated. "Ohhh" Urd replied. They all stood 
there looking at each other. Then Belldandy's eyes widened. 
"Keichi!!!" She ran out the door as fast as she could. She stopped 
when she reached the porch. She looked around the yard worriedly. 
She spotted him lying in the grass close to the house. "Keichi!" she 
screamed. Belldandy ran down the steps being careful not to fall. She 
ran to him and fell to her knees by his side. "Kei-san?" She mumbled 
as she began to cry... His lifeless body didn't move as she began to 
shake him. "Kei-san" she yelled louder hoping he would hear her 
desperate cries. Still there was nothing. She screamed and started 
crying hysterically as she beat him on the chest. She raised her head 
and looked into the sky, "Why...Why Him? What did he do to deserve 
this!" Her eyes squinted as the tears ran down her face and hit his 
deceased body "why..."
